    It is a bit surprising to know that former president George W. Bush is the father of modern electric cars. Well, the financial support placed by the government to encourage the use of EVs did help promote the widespread use of green vehicles. This support allowed for the emergence of EV startup companies which have proven to be successful in their own right.
