Mass Layoffs at CNN and MF Corzine 

RUSH:  Dozens of job cuts at CNN.  CNN New York, Atlanta, Washington, Miami, Los Angeles staffers have been pink-slipped, layoff notices being handed out across CNN US starting last Friday.  At least 50 positions are being eliminated and there's also a story at the Corzines place, thousands of people laid off.
Newt Tops Polls 
RUSH:  Well, there's all kinds of polls out there today, folks. A bunch of new polls, CNN has one out, Public Policy Polling has one out.  In the CNN poll Newt Gingrich has tied Romney.  
Obamaism Remains Unpopular 
RUSH: CBS News poll: "President Obama's ratings on the the (sic) most important issue for his re-election -- the economy -- have posted the weakest showing of his presidency, according to a poll released Friday by CBS News. About 60 percent of voters said they disapprove of Mr. Obama's handling of the economy, the highest on record. Just 34 percent approve of the job he is doing on the matter.
