Cameron Obama US visit: Dave and George should be in Britain stopping the Lib Dems

What will the two leaders achieve? Nothing that could not have been accomplished in a fairly brief telephone conversation. But that would have defeated the object of the exercise, which for Mr Obama is to be seen patronising Mr Cameron and for Mr Cameron to be photographed being treated almost as an equal by the world’s most powerful man.
